Debbie
Debbie Robson has been a mental health nurse for over twenty years and has worked as a community mental health nurse, a researcher and lecturer.
Debbie trained as a mental health nurse at St Lukes Hospital in Middlesbrough, completed her first degree in community mental health nursing in 1997, completed her Thorn training at the Institute of Psychiatry in 2002 and her MSc in mental health services research in 2005.
Debbie has published in national and international nursing journals and has presented her research at conferences in America, China, Europe and the UK.
She has been involved in research projects on medication adherence, physical health in serious mental illness and smoking cessation.
A thread that has run through Debbie's clinical, teaching and research work is the promotion of shared choices between users and professionals.
